The challenge
KCAL wanted to raise awareness around a major change in the insurance industry: Obamacare. At first, no one really understood what it was, and why it was so important. Also, no one really cared. How to explain to the average Joe what all this was about?
The solution
A video taking the comical approach explaining what the regulation was about featuring the YouTuber duo phenomenon Fung Bros. The video (featuring only impersonators) starts with a fictional call from President Obama calling all the most popular stars of the time to make the video and explain the public what this is really about. The video generated over 100K views to date.
